How can you check your credit score
You can sign up to Experian for free and check your credit score. It’s always good to check your score before you apply for credit because it will give you a better idea of where you stand in the eyes of lenders, and your chances of approval before you apply.
You can check your credit score for free, as many times as you like, without it being affected.
What is a good or bad credit score?
The Experian Credit Score runs from 0 to 999 with a ‘good’ score considered to be between 881 and 960, with ‘fair’ or average between 721 and 880.
Once you’ve checked your Experian Credit Score, you can see if you can increase it instantly by signing up to Experian Boost.
But be aware – if you use another credit score checker like Clear Score, they use a different calculation.
